Rooms are divided into four categories: luxury rooms, executive kings, corner suites, and, concierge-level rooms. Though the tell-tale smell of casino smoke had made its way–every so faintly–to this area, once I was through the security-manned glass doors that separate the cozy lobby from the rest of the building, the air was fresh and clean and the ambiance was quiet and exclusive. Part of the MGM Grand Casino, the hotel is accessed via its own valet entrance, but once inside, the check-in area is connected to the rest of the casino.
